Drawing Girl
Let's see how a girl can be drawn.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

Well... Brussels (布魯塞爾)... so far away...
The PageRank of the main page is now 5/10. But for the other pages, they are mostly 1/10... even for the pages which are created long long time ago... Weird, isn't it?

Mozilla 1.7 Beta is out, with some minor improvements...
Although I'm now using Firefox, I'm especially interested in those improvements "under the hood", e.g.
Mozilla 1.7 size and performance have improved dramatically with this release. When compared to Mozilla 1.6, Mozilla 1.7 Beta is 7% faster at startup, is 8% faster at window open time, has 9% faster pageloading times, and is 5% smaller in binary size.
An unknown company called "Free.TV" has bought tons of domains like openwiki.org and xpath.org. It said that the domains are "free" to use as long as the sites link back to it.
How would somebody do THAT...?! =___=
Let's spread the words from a post in the Google Groups:
From: Gervase Markham <gerv@mozilla.org> Newsgroups: netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey,netscape.public.mozilla.license Subject: Open Letter about Mozilla merchandise Followup-To: netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey Date: Tue, 16 Mar 2004 18:56:50 +0000 The following is an open letter to anyone selling Mozilla-branded merchandise. It's being posted rather than emailed in the spirit of openness, and to ensure everyone who needs to read it can see a copy. As I don't have a blog, I'm putting it here - feel free to blog it so the word gets spread. Gerv Dear Mozilla supporter, We note that you are selling Mozilla-branded merchandise in your web shop/fashion house/bazaar stall (delete as appropriate.) While we are pleased that you want to support Mozilla in this way, the Mozilla Foundation enforces its trademarks and requires permission to sell merchandise that includes our artwork or name. The Mozilla project uses Mozilla, Firefox, the fox-on-the-globe and other names and logos to brand its products and goods. We like to think that it's a mark of quality. (That's not to say that what you're selling is necessarily poor quality; we make no claims either way.) We'd like to be certain that what's being sold with our logos on is the good stuff. And (let's be honest here) it's only fair that we get a cut, to contribute towards keeping the Foundation going. So we'd ask you, please, to stop selling Mozilla-branded merchandise and get in touch with licensing@mozilla.org to discuss how to proceed. We'll talk business plans, quality guarantees, percentages and so on. We're really open to coming to a fair arrangement. The Mozilla store (http://store.mozilla.org) is our chosen vendor for the US, Canada and Mexico. OK, there's not much stuff there now, but we hope to have more soon. So we're unlikely to allow general Mozilla merchandise aimed at the general public to be offered by anyone else in those territories. However, people in other countries, get in touch as outlined above and we'll see if we can work something out. You want to support us, and we want to be supported - so it shouldn't be too hard :-) Gerv P.S. Our lawyers asked us to specify that the Mozilla Foundation reserves the right to take legal action to stop nfringements of our trademarks.
To know why mozilla.org did that, see a comment in mozillaZine about this issue.
See also Slashdot for some serious discussions about whether Firefox is free enough to be included in the Debian Linux distribution. By the way, I think this guy is really right.
A simple but crazy idea suddenly came out of my mind: what happen if the URL of an iframe is actually that page itself? Let's see:
From my testing, only Mozilla browser can handle it. In IE and Opera, you can only see a white blank frame. I was using Mozilla Firefox 0.8, IE 6 SP1 and Opera 7.23.
Can your browser handle it? Tell me.
Beside the breakout of OpenWikiNG, there are more and more new and old OpenWiki forks coming out:
By the way, I'm now one of the developers of OpenWikiNG.
I found that the query keywords of "臭豆蜢的由來", "臭豆蜢 由來", "雞赦古 由來" and "臭豆腐 由來" have led someone to my site. What the...
When did I write about "smelly tofu"?! o..o||
I'm pretty amazed that many developers don't really care about the database. See this open discussion, jump to the part about adding indexes in OpenWiki.
I unintentionally found a website called QuirksMode, through nothing related to Mozilla's quirks mode... ^^:::
Recently I found an OpenWikiNG (Next Generation) project opened at sourceforge.net. The initiator, Paul Robertson, has recently written an email to everyone who has left their emails on OpenWiki.com:
Hi At some stage you visited the OpenWiki.com site and left your email address. OpenWiki has been languishing recently. This email is to invite you to become involved in a SourceForge project to develop the code further. https://sourceforge.net/projects/openwiki-ng/ OpenWiki is Laurens Pit's brainchild, an ASP version of the programme first coded in 1994 by Ward Cunningham [see c2.com for history]. Laurens specifically wanted to keep content and presentation separate in his Wiki, and crafted it so that Wiki pages are served up in XML, which is then transformed via XSLT. Over the last coupe of years Laurens appears to have lost interest in his baby. In his absence, users have fixed most of the bugs affecting the last release [March 20, 2002: OpenWiki v0.78 SP1], and also added a range of useful features, such as a "rename this page" action [See Todd Burzynski's contribution at http://www.openwiki.com/ow.asp?OpenWiki%2FExtensions%2FRenameTool] Work is underway on more adventurous additions, such as a Wiki specific editor [http://www.openwiki.com/ow.asp?WikiEditor] and a French version [already written by Ste'phane Lussier see http://www.openwiki.com/ow.asp?St%E9phaneLussier] John Parker has written a WYSIWYG version of OpenWiki but unfortunately the code for this is not available with an open source licence. [http://www.openwiki.com/ow.asp?OpenWikiInDotNet ] A Dot.Net version has been written [http://www.openwiki.com/ow.asp?OpenWikiInDotNet] Ming Hong Ng, has updated the code to (almost) be XHTML 1.1 compatible [http://minghong.dyndns.org:8080/OpenWiki/] Several people have used CSS to customise the look of OpenWiki. [See http://kaplan-myrth.ca/wiki/ where Andy Kaplan-Myrth has done a classy job and also http://www11.brinkster.com/poptones/newcleus/ow.asp?FrontPage for John Parker's effort] Because OpenWiki uses ASP, it has found a home in many intranets, especially as a knowledge management tool. Some publicly available OpenWiki have been spotted [Niklas Gustavsson is the administrator of the SVG wiki at http://www.protocol7.com/svg-wiki/] OpenWiki has received good press and was recently named one of the best Open Source programmes of 2003 by PC Magazine [http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,1420859,00.asp] Incorporating all these good ideas into the code that Laurens left, and developing that code further is the aim of OpenWikiNG. [See http://www.openwiki.com/ow.asp?OpenWikiNG] Visit the OpenWikiNG general discussion forum today at http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=357314 to have your say. Paul Robertson
Let's join the project! =n__n=
Yet another Mozilla Firefox wallpaper from tt-digital.de weblog:
Edited: the layout the that webpage is messed after putting inside this iframe... Let's see if what happen if my webpage is put into an iframe:
I've just found a guy who experienced the same "problem": JavaScript stops working in XHTML after upgrading to Opera 7.2 and above.
Opera, you made a big mistake. Utlimately this will stop people from using you... u__u|||
I've replaced some of the PNG W3C buttons with XHTML/CSS ones. e.g.:
The button template is inspired and partially based on Marek's W3C buttons without images.

Also, I've added Firefox to the browser list of my AWStat. So now my AWStat can recognize the state of art Firefox browser! n__n
I just found that Opera doesn't support <script> in XHTML 1.1. What a... (speechless)
Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm alway using Mozilla, the most standard complicant browser I've ever used...
It seems that the old indexes are all removed! Try to do a search in My FreeFind. You should be able to get a pretty good result. ^.^
Your site has been spidered. Our search engine has finished indexing your site: Site URL : http://minghong.dyndns.org:8080/OpenWiki/ E-mail : minghong2@sinamanNOSPAM.com Site ID : 37150581 Pages Indexed : 729
I've change the value of the meta tag "ROBOT" to "NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW" for pages like diff and revisions. Let's see if FreeFind can remove the old cache after rebuilding the index. `_`
The FreeFind had indexed lots of the old revisions page, which wasted the 32MB of index space.
Site URL : http://minghong.dyndns.org:8080/OpenWiki/ E-mail : minghong2@sinamanNOSPAM.com Site ID : 37150581 Pages Indexed : 3232 Your site has been partly indexed. To increase your size limit, either 1) contact support@freefind.com to request a free increase or 2) subscribe to the ad-free version -- to view available plans, press the "subscribe" tab in the Control Center at http://www.freefind.com/control.html
Let's see if I can stop it from indexing the old revisions and other pages like edit pages as well. ~..~||
I'm trying the free search engine FreeFind suggested by Angus. The spider is still indexing after an hour... hmm...
Well, be my guest. Let me have some sleeping while it is crawling... =P
P.S. The post editing page of Blogger is changed that it doesn't look ok in Mozilla (it WAS ok in the past). The input/ textareas for the post entry doesn't have enough space to show... I need to press the Tab key to focus on the input boxes... How stupid Blogger is.... 凸 (-___-)
Edited: Sorry for the mistake... Appearently Blogger doesn't have any change in in editor, it's just the problem of Mozilla 1.7 Alpha. For Mozilla 1.6, Firefox 0.8, etc, it can display correctly.
My script Bloglendar originated from phil ringnalda and Andy was just mentioned in phil ringnalda's blog at 28 Feb. Hee... ^o^
